Welcome to the Fakery…

The Fakery is a body of hyperrealist work based on super sugary sweets. It’s meant to cause enticement, salivation, and ultimately… disappointment in its viewers. These works are made from “toxic if ingested” materials, but look nothing short of delicious. My faux desserts reflect the often traumatic nature of what should be life’s most pleasurable experiences: childhood, marriage, and friendship.
